Born in California, made in Hawaii. CALI-POKE made a colourful entrance onto the Dubai dining scene at the end of 2017 by bringing a seamless fusion of Peruvian, Japanese and Hawaiian flavours to Business Bay.
Hailed as the first community and lifestyle boutique mall in the Ras Al Khaimah Emirate, Grove Village is set to become home to California seafood house CALI-POKE for two weeks. CALI-POKE will set up a pop-up with Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, CEO of Master Investment Group starting from Friday November 13.
The Dh46 million, 125,000 cubic feet shopping mall serves as a community shopping destination for local residents, residents from other emirates and tourists. CALI-POKE will be showcasing a vibrant menu inspired by a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese ingredients with fresh cuts of fish served “Poke Style” as commonly referred to in Hawaii. The pop-up aims to take guests and residents on a culinary journey from LAX to RAK.
The menu served from 12pm to 12am daily, will feature award winning dishes such as the Poke Taco and Sushi Lovers poke bowl. CALI-POKE is set to transform the upmarket lifestyle mall into a modern California vibes space with a playful menu of casual dishes making this a fun- loving new addition to the RAK dining scene.
Health and safety precaution, masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced.
After opening four successful USA restaurants, CALI-POKE set its sights overseas and launched in Dubai, UAE. As it turns out, you can take the restaurant out of Cali, but you can’t take the Cali out of the restaurant. CALI-POKE Executive Chefs brought over California’s affinity for western food and created the Poke Taco.
Keep things simple with one of Cali’s Signature dishes made with Fresh Salmon or Fresh Ahi Tuna and accompanied by a classic Cali-Coconut to drink!
